Land Use + Development Planner
As Land Use and Development Planner, Adam is responsible for projects involving land planning, urban design and development. He first joined DJA in 2002 and following a brief hiatus, returned to the firm in 2008 after earning a master’s degree in Community and Regional Planning with a focus in sustainable land development from the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture.

Adam's current work focuses on urban infill development, mixed-use projects and master planned communities. His expertise in sustainability and smart growth strategies along with his knowledge of the design, development and building process has proven invaluable to the firm’s scope of services.

Adam is a principal in an affiliated company that specializes in sustainable planning and development services. He is a member of the American Planning Association, Congress for the New Urbanism and the Urban Land Institute.

A native of Colorado, in his former life Adam traveled the world for the sole purpose of skiing the perfect big mountain line. He still enjoys traveling, skiing and exploring the backcountry with his wife and their son.
